What Is Your Dream Life?
9:46 PM
"The two most important days of your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why"
- Mark Twain
It is 9:18 p.m. and I want nothing more than to shut my laptop, pass out and sleep for the next 24 hours after the fun, but long weekend I had. However, I have to be up at 3:00 a.m. and I promised myself I would not go to bed till I have finished this post.
In those two short sentences, that sums up the life of not just being an "entrepreneur" and starting your own company, but it is the epitome of creating the life you wish to lead. One of the themes I want to create in this, is much more than Spero and giving back. I want to create a reference guide for those of you whom wish to move from the world of "I wish I could do that" to "I am doing that". To be able to read something that empowers you to move out of your comfort zone into the life you wish to lead.
It was not long ago, when I floated through life, never having a true direction or purpose. I did not know who I was a person or more importantly the person I wanted to become. Yet, here I am, creating a company which is able to give back and provide people opportunities which otherwise would not be present.
For those of you reading this and tired of living a lukewarm life, I have a challenge for you. Everyday this week wake up 30 minutes earlier than you typically do and write. Write about the person you wish to become, your typical dream day, something which fires up your imagination. Take the time this week, to dive deep within and figure out what is it you want more than anything else in the world.
From this, at the end of each day take the time to reflect how differently the course of your day goes, really meditate on the power of setting the tone of your day every morning.
Wish you all the best.
